While the internet played a role in the fame of Anderson and Lee, it has been even more important for Lee’s fourth wife after Anderson, Brittany Furlan.
The 35-year-old internet personality and comedian, 24 years younger than her rocker husband, had her life changed by social media. It has brought her fortune, a career and Mr. Right.
So what do we know about the current Mrs. Lee?
Social media was the couple’s matchmaker
Lee and Furlan’s love began online. He was one of her followers while she was a fan of Methods of Mayhem and Mötley Crüe, and – most importantly – she always found him “super attractive”, as she revealed to Fox News. “We just hit each other up and ended up going on a couple dates and it was awesome – now here we are,” she said.
After their first public appearance in 2017, he proposed to her on Valentine’s Day 2018 and they tied the knot two years to the day later in 2019.
She made big bucks from Vine
Before TikTok, Vine ruled the online video world from 2012 to 2017, with short-form looping videos up to six seconds long. Furlan was known as the “Queen of Vine”. With nearly 10 million followers, she was among the top five Viners and had over five billion loops for her comedy videos.
Thanks to her huge audience, she made up to US$20,000 per post from brands, which has contributed largely to her reported US$800,000 net worth. “Honestly, if I took every job I’m offered, I could be a multimillionaire right now, but I don’t want to flood my Vine with content,” she told The Wrap news website in 2014.
Despite her success, she left Vine in 2015 to avoid the mental health side-effects as she changed from a shy person to a “cyber girl”. “I just became this monster who constantly wanted to perform,” she told Entertainment News in 2019.
But she is still an active influencer today with 2.3 million followers on Instagram and 1.8 million on TikTok, where her videos have racked up 88 million views.
She is also an actress
Her fame with Vine led Furlan to acting roles in music videos like Pitbull’s Fireball and in film and television roles in We are Your Friends, The Unicorn, The Dirt, Spy Intervention and Paradise City. She was also featured in Netflix’s documentary The American Meme.
In fact, acting was her dream and her initial goal when she moved to Los Angeles at 17, she told Fox News. But while she was figuring out her path, Vine was launched and she never looked back.
“People kind of didn’t take you seriously as an actor because they’re like, ‘Oh, you’re from the internet. You don’t know [how to act],’” she said, “But then finally, people started auditioning me and giving me chances. And then I got to do Spy and Paradise City and it’s been really fun. It’s been awesome.”

Besides her sense of humour, Furlan also has a warm heart. She has done a charity photo shoot for the Project Mermaid Organizations to raise awareness about protecting the ocean environment and sea life from pollution and human impact.
She wants a good relationship with Anderson
Anderson blocked Furlan on social media when Lee started dating the Vine star and when Lee and his son had a fight in 2018, Anderson blamed both Lee and Furlan. Anderson wrote in a blog that “his fiancé keeps him drunk. This is what he wants – someone to behave badly with”.
Furlan was very upset about it, telling Fox News of Anderson, “She knew nothing about me or my life. I just hope that one day everyone can be cool and be friends and be nice to each other.”
She makes Lee so happy, his face hurts
At 59, Lee’s life today is totally different from his younger days. He has swapped the rocking out, drinking and death-defying stunts for domestic bliss.
Now he is living a quiet and happy life in LA thanks to Furlan. He revealed to GQ that he doesn’t go out much any more. Instead, he enjoys working and hanging out in his recording studio, playing with his pets – fish, turtles, dogs and birds – and going viral on TikTok with Furlan.
“I have my beautiful wife and she is just incredible, man. My face often hurts from laughing so much from all the fun we have. She has that wonderful gift of laughter and I think that’s such an underrated quality in people,” he said.
